Nothing is neutral. Every decision we make and every action we take moves us closer to success or failure.

About how much does an insurance agent make after one year of being licensed who works for State Farm?

Insurance sales is commission based. If you have a bad run, or aren’t any good, you could very well earn zero after 1 year.

On the other hand, the sky is the limit if you do well and work hard. Someone could easily make $150k their first year, or even more. I would say the average would probably be around 25-40K if your only selling personal lines insurance, and 40-65K if your doing commercial lines.
