If you are not at-fault for the accident it is unlikely. If you are not at-fault, your insurance company will recover the damage they pay out from the responsible party. Some insurance companies offer "accident forgiveness" plans. Perhaps yours does. If you have had several accidents over a short period of time, and you were not at-fault, your premuim may go up. Use your insurance, that is why you have it, isn't it? I have used my insurance on occasion, and my rates have never gone up.
