Geico started cheap …
Geico started cheap for me and goes up every 6 mo. However; a lady did run into me in my old car and they were quick to fix and be done with it. No complaints there. Plus they are open 24 hrs, know how much you need that! Good luck!

Well I’ve had to do …
Well I’ve had to do a lot of dealing with insurance companies and I’ve found that AIG had the best prices for me. I’m not with AIG anymore because they couldn’t offer me competitive homeowners’ coverage. One thing I found was if I upped my coverage, the price went down. So instead of the minimum 20/40/20 required here I was able to pay less by going with 100/300/100.

That’s ironic. The most expensive one we’ve come across was State Farm. They quoted me $85, where shelter quoted us $55 for the same package. They must be better in TX.

We had Farm Bureau …
We had Farm Bureau as our insurer on two properties in southern Mississippi. Hurricane Katrina happened. Both properties had minor damage. So small we didn’t even file a claim. Because we’re in a declared disaster county, Farm bureau refused to renew our policies. We were turned over to a Casualty company. Our rates doubled. FARM BUREAU SUCKS.

Actually it didn’t take that long at all. Plus, I got a deal with twice the coverage for $20 less than I was paying at Farm Bureau. You may want to check out the video I posted as a video response. I explain how things turned out.
