Assuming you&#039;re talking about homeowners, you have to be VERY careful, in Texas - we don&#039;t use standard policy forms.  The most common policy form, is actually a NAMED PERILS policy.   Me, I&#039;m in Houston, and I&#039;ll happily pay more for an &quot;all risk&quot; policy (which, btw, doesn&#039;t insure against EVERYTHING, but is a darned sight better than a named perils policy.

So.  Don&#039;t shop based on name, shop based on COVERAGES.  That way, when loss time comes around, you&#039;re not there complaining about the insurance company because they&#039;re not giving you something you didn&#039;t pay for.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
