Farm Insurance Agents

Farm Bureau Insurance started the America & Me Essay Contest in 1968 to encourage Michigan youth to seriously consider their roles in America’s future. In the 2009-2010 contest, nearly 5000 eighth graders from nearly 500 Michigan schools participated and wrote essay on the topic “My Personal Michigan Hero”.

As the sponsor of the contest, Farm Bureau Insurance has earned 11 national awards from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.
